Are you looking to start your painting practice or nurture an existing one? I am now available for private and small group lessons!

I have over a decade of college teaching experience and I can meet students at any level— ones who have never touched paint to canvas before all the way through professionals who are looking to understand how to push their professional practice to the next level.

Each private lesson is tailored to your specific goals, but here are some topics we can explore: Methods and materials, Oil painting or acrylic painting, Representational painting or abstraction, Setting up a home studio, Building a body of work, Building a professional portfolio, Contemporary practices and professional practice

PRIVATE LESSON

In this hour we can go over your background and goals and make a plan to help you achieve them. We can discuss developing a body of work, starting your art business, or the very early stages of exploring how art can fit into your life.

$150 individual

PRIVATE LESSONS + ASYNCHRONOUS FEEDBACK

This is a package of a month long intensive to help you grow creatively. It includes an initial one our meeting to evaluate where you are at in your practice and where you would like to go, followed up with 3 more half hour weekly meetings to move each step forward. In between each meeting, you will have the option for ongoing email feedback.

Over this time you could work on one seminal work, develop a body of work, or initiate a series of experiments to find your next big inspiration.

$400 for 4 weeks

$500 for 6 weeks

ASYNCHRONOUS FEEDBACK

This package gives you 4 weeks of ongoing asynchronous feedback on your work. You would share progress images of your paintings and I can offer suggestions and help you troubleshoot any issues as you work.

$200 for 4 weeks asynchronous

$300 for for 6 weeks asynchronous

$300 for 4 weeks + initial 30 minute live meeting
